I was 71 when I was diagnosed. I have most of the symptoms That you have. I keep fighting to keep exercising, because when I don't exercise for few days, I get very stiff and can't move as well, I went through two years of choking and getting strangled on food and water. I used a thickener for a long time. But I rarely get chocked anymore. I've taken IVIG INFUSIONS twice, but , don't feel they have helped a lot. But I'm not sure I'm having them often enough. I am from india i started having ataxia symtoms in june 2021 doctos just gives me antidepressent med my main problem is instability when i move around i tend to fall mainly towards the right side and doing tandem stand with eyes closed is impossible i cant keep my balance. Few days bac a continuance muscle movemnt is seen under the right corner of my lips .i feel tired easily.

Madelyn, I have FA too & get head tremors whenever I'm stressed or tired. I have not been put on any medication. Please could you tell me what you're on & also for the exhaustion, are you using any form of supplement? I use b12, D3, ashwaganda & Lions Mane, which are supposed to help with energy levels, depression, etc.

I think it’s fine that you’re talking about this Madelyn and actually it’s really good because it’s something that most taxi and me included deal with it’s frustrating but we can overcome it

My brother also struggled with shaving. I can't remember what razor he used but he delicately nicked himself a couple times. Really the whole process made him nervous because he was also very spastic. Thanks for these videos! I hope this doesn't sound weird but you remind me of him in so many ways. It's very nostalgic and kinda therapeutic watching them.

Seriously, to all the people reading this comment, stay healthy for yourself AND others! I am living with Lupus and I am on steroids, so I am heavily immunosuppressed. I am already having a hard time with Lupus, let alone a virus like this! Please be mindful of the elderly and people who look healthy but have underlying health issues

No quit, no limits! Saw Chris Tomlin at Red Rocks few moths ago...I was concerned about outside venue....no worries at all, staff was awesome and Chris Tomlin was 20 feet away. Lauren must have been fantastic, not only a great singer, but she has her own story of overcoming some physical challenges. Keep rollin!

I have FA standing up is the same for me and washing the dishes is like im holding a rock infront of me my back kills, I find it hard to talk without messing up what I want to say or choking on nothing, my feet are always cold! im never tired my eyes shake when i draw i have seizures too i always have lower back pains my speech is the same and when im walking in the dark its like im walking with my eyes closed my eyes are getting weaker too
